Stay close
We go out to meet people, talk with them and listen — and we stay close to our community.
ABOUT MATCHAMORÉ
Connecting the people, towns and businesses of Kyoto Yamashiro through sport.
WHO WE ARE
Matchamoré Kyoto Yamashiro is a football club from Kyoto Yamashiro, the home of Japanese tea, aiming to reach the J.League by 2030. Founded in 2020, we are building the club together with our community in the spirit of tomonitsukuru — creating together.
MISSION
VISION
OUR PRINCIPLES
Four principles that guide how we work with our community.
We go out to meet people, talk with them and listen — and we stay close to our community.
We aim to pioneer a model of sport built together with our fans.
We help create positive, vibrant and thriving towns.
We learn from traditional and different cultures, and we value diversity.
OUR EMBLEM
Our emblem is a graphic interpretation of 茶, the Japanese character for tea and the symbol of the Yamashiro region.
Within it, a torii gate stands for culture, a house with a triangular roof for the town, and the cross at its base for people. Culture, town and people coming together as one — that is what the emblem of Matchamoré Kyoto Yamashiro represents.
CLUB PROFILE
ROAD TO 2030
Our ambition goes beyond promotion. We want to build, together with the region, a club that the people of Yamashiro can be proud of.
